Writer/Director/Producer Heather E. Connell is a free-lance screenwriter. She studied screenwriting and theatre arts at Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts before relocating to Los Angeles. She completed additional graduate work with the Hollywood Screenwriting Institute and spent a year mentoring with Producer Eve Ladue (The Talented Mr. Ripley; Men of Honor.)Her directorial debut, Choosing Your Course, was completed in the winter of 2002. Black/White marked a new level of filmmaking for Displaced Yankee Productions. Black/White was completed in Spring of 2004 with a showing at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Her latest project, "Small Voices" is her first international feature length documentary with a projected competition of August 2007.Her other hobbies include spelunking, climbing, mountain biking and guitar.
